4 Oct 17 Comment Very nice composition, well exposed and the colors appear correct. My only nit is the clipping of the arch on the right and left side. Oct 23rd
4 Oct 17 Comment I like the composition and the fact that the three people are looking left does not bother me. I noticed the buildings in the back have their lights on and I wonder if you would have waited twenty minutes if those light may have become more prominent. What I would like to see is some drastic work on the sky and the water to make it pop. I darkened the sky and reduced the overall brightness to make the lights on the building appear natural. I also worked on the water with a graduated filter with some added clarity and Dehaze. My last step was to use the Adjustment brush in Camera Raw to brighten up the church and the three ladies. 4 Oct 17 Comment The painterly effect is interesting. I would crop from the top and bottom to create a panoramic effect where the diagonal line almost cuts the image in half. Just a thought. Oct 23rd
4 Oct 17 Comment Excellent use of IR. Those old Nikon D70's make good IR cameras. I agree with Isaac on the crop. The rock formation on the right side is a distraction. One thing I would like to have seen done is to tone down the foreground a bit. Oct 23rd
4 Oct 17 Comment Joe, the crop worked. As I look at the final crop, I wonder if some of the surrounding cedar shingles would add to the image. The crop as is does have an abstract look to it. Oct 23rd
4 Oct 17 Comment Issac, I questioned that. And decided not to remove it. I submitted a monochrome print at Club the other night. It scored a perfect 27 points. When we discussed the print after, many people had not seen it. Oct 6th

44 Oct 17 Reply Yes, that white boat bothered me too. I plan on going back and perhaps that white boat will be gone. I also thought of painting it another color. Oct 17th
