Thanks Joe. It actually took some pushing to get the head to have a glow. It would have been nice if I had someone with a flashlight helping nature. |

Glad you survived the swamp encounter. Those are scary moments with a camera in hand. I think we all can relate to similar situations.
I like your angle of view and composition. I made a few corrections to help the overall image for impact and mood. I cloned out the distractions on the right and left side. I also used Topaz Adjust 5, Highlight Recovery. I then darkened the edges using Photoshop Camera RAW filter, Post Crop Vignetting. |

I like the square composition of this image. The problem some people have is everything needs to be in a rectangular format. With this, the square nails it. The color and texture are spot on. My only Nit is the snakes head is a bit soft. I would have been tempted to push the ISO to get an f stop around f8 or f11 for added depth of field. |

The choice of monochrome was the right one. I hope you took many exposures from various angles. I like the "Z" composition leading back to the dome gazebo. The monochrome tones have been well handled and your exposure is right on the money. |

Great capture with just enough motion for an interesting mood. The colors appear accurate and true. The real question is, Did you flip this image to make it read left to right? Just a bit of humor. |

Excellent capture of a colorful scene. I don't object to the subject being centered in the frame. I think it adds to the scene. Sometimes I consider using a polarizer to eliminate reflections, but in this case it would have ruined the scene. It's almost like a window on the world. Great use of color harmony. |
