Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
14 Sep 18 Comment This is the finest story-telling image I have seen in my umpteen years with Group 14. The fact that it was unposed, a grab-shot if you please, makes it even more wonderful.

We don't need to see the background more clearly; it is there just to provide context. If it were mine, I would tone down the lower left corner, including the bright spot on the woman's lower back, to about the level of the rest of the background in order to put even more emphasis on the priest's face, which is clearly your point of interest.

To me, it is the simplicity of the image the really makes it stand out. Well done!

14 Sep 18 Reply Maybe a bit lighter than this, but you get the idea. Sep 9th
14 Sep 18 Comment You have succeeded well in your crisp and sharp capture of color, detail, and design! I also agree that the background needs a little work. The background needs to as unobtrusive as possible, therefore a light shade, but must somehow draw the viewer in. My suggestion is to darken the corners slightly, then turn up the brightness and adjust Levels for maximum brightness. Sep 9th
