I love the way you play with photoshop like your painting brush to furnish it as a new art piece of creating! I think it will be more fun if you add some faces shape or body shapes around since there are some edges of tulip has a hand or profile face feeling, which very impression and modern. Love the color,Lauren! |

I love the original one better, Marie! I think the cooler color let viewer calm and have more place to saturate our emotions related to sadness, and darkness also can become a focal point rather than light up, maybe make darker and cooler let the tears burst out of the field? :)

I like how it is! Like a robot talking with me from far far forest or a shy kid playing hide-seek in a back yard but no one to find him even he tries to expose himself as much as possible! |

Hi Judith, Thanks for your sweet comments! I always try to contemplate as while I'm creating, sometimes concept not as the originals but I feel maybe our process not have to prepare for the destination, since destination only one, but paths are plenty. And this is a moving shot, which I just jump up from my chair! |

Thanks so much for your comment! Yeah, since I have not planned the photograph, it happened in a moment I do not have any pose for the camera to create any self-portrait, and mixing with messy thoughts of future, maybe it's a moment of "Still Unknown", but pushing myself to embrace whatever comes next. |

Hi Kerl, thanks so much for mentioning about "philosophical photographer" since I pretty much enjoy that concept of defining my art creating, and most about thinking the purpose of life and what is the art itself, with questions and many many debate with myself. And I do have a background of psychology!! That is also what I'm enjoying about to explore, to touch or reach, the deeper intimidate part of our own or viewer's own. |
