On reflection, I agree, the sky does add a sense of space. As always cropping is very subjective. Nice image, anyway. |

Ah - a very Aussie scene. I agree with Lou that the sky could be cropped (or maybe add a strategic wisp of cloud or two as an alternative). I don't feel the white car adds much to the story - might be better cropped on that side, and if you have more on the original frame on the left it might be good to add, as to my eye the people on the left launching the boat are a bit cramped by the edge of the frame. Perhaps something like the attached. |

Nice juxtaposition. It's a pity the carriage is disappearing into the shadow of the tree. I had a play in PS to see what it looks like if the shadows are lifted (camera raw filter to increase shadows and clarity mainly). What do you think? |

I like it too. The subject's expression is lovely. The expression on the man behind her is intriguing ... what was he thinking? The blue mobile phone in the foreground is a splash of colour and is typical of our times, and the edge of the phone makes a leading line towards the subject's face. Lovely. |

Lovely capture with lots of stories in this image. I like the tighter crop you chose - the tree in the original doesn't add to the narrative. |

Interesting capture, but to me it looks muddy and the colour balance seems a little brown to me. I think a tighter crop might be better too. I had a play in PS - what do you think? |
