Hi Rita, that is a great subject! The lighting seems a little off to me too. I would consider adding contrast and brightness to select areas that you want to bring out to help tell your story of Rock n Roll cow girl. That's great that you were able to pick her out if a crowd and get her to pose for you! Oh for the backround consider blending the original with this smooth one to make it more realistic. |

Hi Jane, nice shot and well seen. Beautiful sun star! You might consider cropping in on by the left with just the one couple and the sun star to simplify the shot as I think the way it is now the sun star gets lost a little in the leaves. The second couple on the left is distracting to me because they are looking away from the sunset and take me right out of the photo wondering what could be more interesting than the beautiful sunset. That is a beautiful tree though, and understand why you would not want to crop it! |

Hi John, nice shot. I agree with the contrast comments, just be careful of your shadows cause they are a little dark. That being said, I had a similar problem a while back and it turned out I had my monitor brightness set to high so what I saw others didn't. That's a beautiful part of the country and even more picturesque with snow. |

Beautiful image! Great portrait of a bird. Beautiful background, eye is nice and crisp! It seems to me as if the bird is lacking depth and is just pasted in. Perhaps if you darken it's belly slightly as it matches the wings and at first glance it's hard to tell what's happening there. Just a minor tweak.
The grid might be a jpeg conversion artifact that may have to do with switching colorspace. I see it too when I zoom way in… |
