Hi John, the subject looks to be in focus and the exposure looks good. The story is wonderful but could you tell the story in a more interesting way? You may consider expanding the title perhaps to "Cloth Chaos" or maybe adding some other deor to communicate the situation. |

Hi Damon, I like this shot. Perhaps you can stylize it a bit with a filter and make it look more like a Norman Rockwell painting. Just something to play with. The rings get lost in the photo I had to really look for them after reading your title. You may also consider taking down the exposure on the lady as she really stands out as the subject when you first glance at the photo. Thank you also for your lengthy explanation of how you took the shot and the care you took to get the exposure correct. |

Hi Damon, thank you so much for your comments. After I sent the picture to Richard I sat down and asked myself what really interested you in taking this picture? Answer was the rocks and the bird prints. So I cropped it as you suggest and did a border clean and entered it in a club competition and it got 3rd place and I am also much happier with the photo. So I agree with you and so does the club judge. |
