45 Dec 24 Reply Thanks, Ray! Dec 7th
45 Dec 24 Reply Thank you, Robert! Yes, I the use the Remove Tool quite often, maybe too often. Dec 7th
45 Dec 24 Reply Thanks, Charlie! I'll give it a try. That dark patch of leaves bothers me a little. Dec 7th
45 Dec 24 Comment A well-captured image! Framing the sleek, modern skyscaper between the jagged rocks creates an unusual visual contrast. The pink clouds also adds interest. Dec 3rd
45 Dec 24 Reply I re-posted the edited image. Dec 3rd
45 Dec 24 Reply Yes, Generative Fill is a great tool when used judiciously. You're right about the woman's head blending with the tree trunk. I'll have to try something. How's this? Dec 3rd
45 Dec 24 Comment This is quite a lovely image of a church interior. A perfect exposure capturing the beautiful colors. But, I'm not sure why it's not symmetrical. The upper, left side is sagging down compared to the right side. It can be corrected using Photoshop's warp tool. I took a stab at it, but it far from adequate. Dec 2nd
45 Dec 24 Comment This is a wonderful image that tells a story. Good decision to darken the floor. I wonder if cropping the floor and man's legs would focus more attention on the violins though. Dec 2nd
45 Dec 24 Comment Great shot, Charlie! I love the way the doors frame the outside scene. The colors are so vibrant, too. Dec 2nd
45 Dec 24 Comment This is a wonderful image with such intense colors! I wish my backyard looked like this. Dec 2nd

65 Dec 24 Reply Thank you, Maria. I'm keeping two versions of this image - one with the moon and one without. Dec 19th
65 Dec 24 Reply Thank you, Diana. I'm leaning towards leaving the moon in. When I took it out, the image just seemed to be missing something. Dec 15th
65 Dec 24 Comment The sunflower is nicely composed with the pointy green involucral bracts peeking from behind (I had to look up what those are called). The petals on the right seem to be a little out of focus, or maybe it's just my poor eyesight. I would suggest cloning out the sharp vertical lines on the left and right side of the background as they tend to pull the attention away from the flower. Dec 11th
65 Dec 24 Comment I'm a little torn about this image. It's reasonably sharp, and the white flower stands out against the green leaves. But I don't find much more in the image to hold my attention. The lighting is rather harsh, and the flower is partially covered by some leaves. The weed is toxic and invasive - not a very pleasant plant. It is a good record shot though. Dec 8th
65 Dec 24 Reply Thanks for your feedback, Barbara. That's two for deleting the moon. Dec 7th
65 Dec 24 Comment Wow! This is probably the most interesting image of a hibiscus I've ever seen. That curvy pistil with all those fascinating stamen really make this a unique image. I also like how you composed the image to include the flower and some leaves. Excellent! Dec 4th
65 Dec 24 Reply Thanks for your detailed feedback, Dick. I like your suggestion of flipping the image horizontally, and I didn't notice that speck on the side. I'm still debating what to do with the moon. Because this was intended to be a minimalist shot, I didn't want the moon to be so prominent. Without the tiny moon, the image seemed to lack a point of focus or attention. Dec 4th
65 Dec 24 Comment A very pleasant image of a yellow zinnia. The center is sharp and the surrounding petals have that Lensbaby-blurred look to it. I would suggest darkening the bright spots and lightening the dark petals and background areas to give the image a more uniform brightness. I took a stab at evening the brightness of your image in Nik Collection's Vivesa. I also brightened the center and added a slight vignette to draw the eye to the flower. Dec 2nd
65 Dec 24 Comment What a perfect image of mushrooms. In the summer months, I'm always on the lookout for mushrooms to photograph, but I can never find such excellent specimens. Everything is in focus with a nice blurred background. I wouldn't change a thing. Dec 2nd
