Yes, burst mode is great when you need it! |

I like the juxtaposition of the modern, highly-lit skyscrapers with old boats below as well as the surrounding buildings with various architecture. It's quite a mix! My suggestion would be to de-haze the image as the towers have a slight misty cast about them. |

Making the seat the main focus of this image, I cropped the image to concentrate on the dilapidated seat and eliminate the surrounding distractions. I also added a vignette. It definitely redefines the beauty found in wabi-sabi. |

The lighting and colors are beautiful. I might suggest cropping a little off the left side. When I first looked at this picture, I thought the lady had fangs. So, you might want to clone out that white spot on her lower lip. |

I, too, like the simplicity and B&W conversion of this image. I also like Cindy's cropped version. I would imagine this scene was deliberately posed. |

Thank you, Cindy. For this shot, I used a burst mode (~10 shots/sec). It's the first time I tried it with a street shot. I think it works! |

Thank you, Robert. This was one of those times where I first saw two children playing under the tree. Unfortunately, they left before I could get my camera out of my bag. So, I planted myself there for a while waiting for an interesting person to walk by. |

You really brought out the potential of this image by equalizing the tonal qualities. The browns and greens are all of a consistent brightness and complement each other well, thus, creating a warm and comforting scene. There is so much to look at that I didn't initially notice the tree growing out of the roof! I was also intrigued by the two trees leaning against the building on the right side, not to mention the building is a log cabin. I guess that is why the building is called a "tree house." |

This is a wonderful image with the mix of unusual architecture. I like the juxtaposition of the Big Easy's rounded shape with the straight lines and square shapes of the surrounding buildings. It looks like an open mouth of a huge shark. A nicely seen composition! |

Thank you, Barbara. Focus bracketing was a little difficult because the flower was quite tall (~5 ft). I had to wait until there was no wind during the bracketed shots. |

I like the strong composition with three vibrant flowers in a diagonal. The background spines provide a reference that these flowers are on a cactus. If this were my image, I would brighten the spines in the lower right area. |

It might be a sad looking rose, but it certainly has a lot of character. I like the detail in the withered rose petals and shriveled leaves brought out by a point-source, side light. The background color works well with the drooping flower. The image might not appeal to many folks, but I can appreciate the effort you put in setting this shot up. |

What a outstanding and well-composed image! It looks like a painting, and I mean that in the best way. The zig-zag pattern of the red flowers grab your attention, especially in a two-dimensional image. Just beautiful! I'll be at Longwood Gardens next week, and I just might have to find this scene myself! |
