Thank you, Robert. Yes, that pine tree had lots of character and was almost 100 years old (I counted the rings of the cut trunk). But, for years I worried that it would fall on our house causing major, if not irreparable, damage. I finally took action when a similar tall pine tree about 10 meters away in my neighbor's backyard did fall down. Fortunately, it didn't hit anything. |

Nicely captured! It looks like the bird was posing for you by deliberately sitting the man's fist. I like how the dark bird stands out from the light colored sculpture. The muted yellow and blue colors are also pleasingly complementary. My only suggestion would be to fix the perspective on the right side to make the vertical lines truly parallel with edge. |

You were quite fortunate to find the mountain lion sitting where it was sitting - in the rock doorway that nicely frames the subject and with the side light illuminating the front of the mountain lion. Very nicely captured! If I were to make any changes, I might try cropping some of the rock on both sides making the image a portrait composition. |

This is a beautiful scene with the colorful houses and flowering plants hanging over the bridge; especially the red plants. The bridge reflection and the stained bridge itself, however, don't seem to match the level of interest of the houses and plants, and they appear to be the main subjects of the image. The reflection of the gray sky and bright concrete bridge grab my attention and pull my eye from the interesting parts of the image. For me, the upper half of the image is the most interesting. |

What a great find. I like old, rusty cars and trucks. However, this image has a little too much grunge for my taste. If this were my image, I would have applied the grungy look to the car only and not the surroundings. But, if that's what you were going for, I can't argue with you. |

A beautiful sunrise scene with lovely clouds. The exposure bracketing and HDR nicely lit the foreground considering the sun was so low to the horizon and behind the trees. Everything appears to be sharp from the foreground to the background. I also like that the flowers are 2/3rds of the image. I'm not sure I like the white flowers. They seem to be incongruous with the lovely magenta cone flowers. |

A very pleasing image with movement and nice colors. The blue night sky adds a rich color to the red swirling lights. The composited light trails were well done and looks very natural and seamless. |
