Thanks, Phyllis! Union Station has lot of character, but very poor lighting - very difficult to get a good image there. I'm starting to like the revised shot the more I look at it. You're right about the subtle colors. |

Thank you, Robert. Although I'm not as enthused about the overall image from when I took the picture, I do like the latest version the best based of everyone's suggestions. |

I was actually going for a silhouette of the "black, dark grey blob" statue. But, the more I look at the image, the more I think I like it with details as in the original photo. I revised the image based on Cindy's and your comment. I kept the second statue in and added some space as it was too close to the edge. |

Thanks for your suggestions, Cindy. I'll definitely lighten the shadows in the foreground statue, but I'll have to play around with how much of the second statue to crop off. |

Lots of sharp detail in this image. Clearly, it has a huge dynamic range from the light coming through the stained glass windows to the dark wood paneling. You did a good job in balancing the highlights and shadows although some areas are blown out in the windows. Maybe exposure bracketing would have helped. The converging verticals point upwards to the exquisite ceiling. Without the details in the ceiling, the shot would not have worked as well. Great job! |

Lots of great detail and contrast in this image! I don't normally see sand so white. It still looks like snow though, but that's not a bad thing. It's so sharp from the foreground to the background. Did you use focus stacking? |

I love feather macros, and you certainly captured lots of fine detail in this feather. Great job focus stacking! |

What a beautiful field of irises! The clouds add a sense of movement and drama to the image. It would have been nice if you could have gotten closer to that closest iris. |

A strong black-and-white image with vertical icicles converging onto the icicle florets below. Nicely captured! Is there any way to bring out some detail in the blown-out white caps in the center? |

A colorful image indeed. We don't see such beautiful sunsets around here very often. The composite of the light trails and sunset works well. However, there is almost too much to look at. And, I'm not sure whether the red, upside-down-Y light trail on the far right is really needed. To me, the image seems stronger without it as the diagonal red and white light trails frame the river scene nicely. |

This is an exquisite image! I went back to your Dec 2020 image, and your improvements in this image really make the photo come alive. Great texture and detail that's hard to see unless one opens the image. I like the silky water contrasting against the sharp, detailed rocks, and the light coming in from the upper right corner leads one's eye to the waterfall. But, the silhouetted woman just adds that perfect point of focus. Actually, I prefer the color image over the B&W one. The colors are so subtle and add another dimension of interest. Outstanding! |
