Thank you, Bai. This image was more of a post-processing challenge than anything else. |

Thank you, Charlie. Which bright spot? Do you mean where her sweater is torn exposing part of her left breast? That's supposed to be part of the costume effect. |

Thank you, Cindy. It was indeed intended to be just that...a fun photo, nothing more. Maybe not appropriate for this forum. |

I was just having some portrait fun with this image. I wouldn't put it on my wall either! But, the model appreciated it, posted it on her Instagram and got plenty of comments. I'll go back to serious photography next month...I promise. |

This is an interesting variety of tulips that I have not seen. They look like orange flames shooting from the ground. I don't quite understand the connection between the tulips and the stone masonry, if there is one. But, it is a simple and pleasant image. |

This is an interesting perspective of a waterfall - shooting from a side view. The smooth trail of water stands out nicely from the dark background. And, the green and yellow leaves add a touch of color to the scene. I can't see anything I would change.
The scene reminds me when I was growing up in Chicago, we used to go to Starved Rock to climb the "cliffs." |

I know you're a big fan of old grunge, and this image definitely has a lot of it. Beautiful texture throughout. And, the light and shadows add to the effect. Usually, leading lines take you to a point of interest, but, in this case, the interest is in the details found in the journey to the end of the corridor. Although I like your final image, I also like the original image as well (with the perspective correction applied)...maybe even a bit more because it is so natural. |

You captured a beautiful sunrise or sunset scene on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The upper part of the image pops with the strong shadows against the sunlit mountains. I like how you brought out the details using the de-haze filter. I'm not sure I like the effect on the foreground though. It makes the fauna look unnatural. Perhaps, you might want to try selecting the foreground and backing off the de-haze filter some. |

Before I read your write-up, I thought you used a digital, impressionistic-art filter to modify your image of Osaka Castle. Then, I realized it was a reflection in the water, turned upside down. It is an interesting effect. However, it might have helped to show some of the castle not in the reflection so that the viewer has some context to what is going on. It's hard to tell where the waterline is. |
