45 Dec 19 Comment Beautiful image of sandhill cranes in flight. I like the three birds on the lower part of the image because all their heads are showing. The fourth bird in the upper left doesn't add a lot to overall impact and, in some ways, detracts from the natural progression of the wings of the three other birds. The tree tops add significantly to the composition by framing the birds. Nicely done! Dec 8th
45 Dec 19 Comment Nicely seen image of hanging wooden utensils. I like the warm colors of the wood contrasting the dark blue area below. If this were my image, I would darken the bright white areas in the back. And, maybe add a vignette to darken the wooden utensils on the sides - accentuating the utensils with the holes in the center. Dec 8th
45 Dec 19 Comment Excellent post processing! You really brought out the character of the horse by sharpening the hairs and eyes. I'm not sure what all you did, but it worked! I like the way you de-saturated, blurred and darkened the green-grass background while lightening the dark vegetation above the grass to give the background a more uniform look. And, your cropping accentuated the image tremendously. Quite a transformation from the original image. Dec 1st
45 Dec 19 Comment Great composition and use of subtle lighting. I really like your subdued background that is not totally black to give the image depth. The soft lighting brings out the texture and softness of the feather while accentuating the sharp linear details. Dec 1st
45 Dec 19 Comment Beautiful image with great composition. I like the way your composition takes the eye from the bright city lights in the lower left and then diagonally upwards to the right, through the water, to see the sky. The colors are so warm and relaxing. And, you captured the scene timely with the city lights on while there was still light in the sky. I also like the way you post-processed the image, too, with very deep and saturated colors. Dec 1st

62 Dec 19 Comment Hi, Oliver! I really like how you post-processed this image. It brings out the details in the blacks (especially in the eyes, lips and bow tie)and enhances the overall character of the person compared to the original image. Lots of nice soft as well as contrasting harsh tones with a full tonal range. I don't feel its over-processed at all. Dec 2nd
