The eyes obviously captivate the viewer and you did an excellent job creating a very sharp image. I assume that the photograph was captured hand held so the sharpness is very impressive. I agree with others to say that the stuff in the lower right corner is a little distracting.

This is a very interesting presentation of the flower. The black background sets off the flower and the soft tones of the flower contrast nicely with the black of the background. To my eye, the sharp shadows on the upper two leaves is a little distracting. I wouldn't mind the shadow lines but I think I might try softening them a little. Otherwise, an excellent image. |

These are very interesting artistic images. I'm more of a 'realist' so I tend to shy away from these types of images but your execution is excellent. Both images are well done and the monochrome gives me more of an ethereal mood. The color one, to my eye, doesn't have as much emotional depth as the monochrome image. |
