I love the colors in this image and like seeing the other buildings and small boats along the canal. It really tells the story of where this is. I like the cropped version you submitted. |

This looks like it was fun to shoot. At my experience level, I have no idea of how to create night images but it would be fun to try. It does seem quite a challenge to capture the desired image. But the image is still quite nice. |

I like knowing the back story of this image. It's a good story. The gentleman behind the subject was a distraction to me but now that I know the story it makes more sense. That said, the two still seem a little disjointed. Maybe if the friend was looking this way or somehow showing some interaction may help. Not sure, just taking a guess. Still a great image. .......especially, the reflection in the sunglasses. And yes, I like the color version. |

Guess it unanimous, the B&W is a keeper. I also like how you cropped a portion of the top of the image. Although it was blurred to be out of focus, the cropping makes it even more impactful. |

Hi Chuck - I also am impressed with your image. I agree with the suggested cropping due to the item on the right side. Also, am in favor of the B&W version. Very, very nice. |
