69 Aug 24 Comment What an interesting shot. The colors are pleasing and the blurring effect is an interesting direction. It almost feels like a watercolor or abstracted oil painting. I don't know if it was intended but it is interesting. I also appreciate seeing the bloom on one of the left flowers. The detail is nice. Interesting shot and a nice photo. Aug 8th
69 Aug 24 Comment This is a great capture. It took me a minute to figure out what the image was when I saw the thumbnail but when I saw the full size image it was amazing. I love the small splashes of color that we can see in the photo as it adds something to the subject. Great shot. Aug 8th
69 Aug 24 Comment The baby chick in the back makes this piece have a level of humor to the piece that I enjoy. I agree with Mervyn's comment that cropping a bit from the top would help improve the image. I think that you could leave the branch by the chick's head without losing quality of the photo. Great shot and lovely photo. Aug 8th
69 Aug 24 Comment I love the image I did not notice the thread at the bottom until reading the other comments. I do agree now with Jaswant and Dean that the removal of the thread might help. My main comments are more aligned with Mervyn in that the color pallet you have is great and adds a lot to what makes this piece appealing. Cropping the lower half of the image would also fix the thread as I think the thread distracts me because it breaks up the nice dark green color in the lower half of the photo. Great photo I think this is a keeper. Aug 8th
69 Aug 24 Comment Great shot. The subject is well centered and the darkening of the edges really improved the photo. It really draws the audience in and to the subject. I wonder if a bnw version of the photo might draw out the detail of the fly's wings but that would make the photo a very different piece. Great shot nothing I would change. Aug 8th
69 Aug 24 Comment This is a lovely photo. The colors are vibrant and the subject is well centered. I do agree an eye level shot would improve the photo but that might be difficult. I think a slightly lower angle would also improve the subject as it feels a little vertical to me but overall great shot and wonderful capture. Aug 8th
