This is a lovely close up image. I think that the focusing on the head makes for a lovely portrait. I think that if you could mute the background colors or soften them it might bring the subject more out. I think that the level of detail makes this a very enjoyable macro photo. |

This is a lovely image. The colors feel very muted which makes for a pleasing image. I agree that the image of the bird close to the water is interesting and seeing part of the subject in the reflection is very interesting. There are a lot of details in the image which makes it very nice to view. |

This is a very strong image. I am not sure what the exact words are that I would use to describe the image but it gives a very strong story. I think that the detail that you captured in the image is great and the poses are very nice. I think that keeping all the animals in the photo provides a very strong story and so I agree with you that using images that contain less animals would probably provide less of a story. |

Hi Bob, I realize I should have been more specific as I failed to communicate the struggle I had with this flower. I am glad that you liked how the image looked but my issues with my image was that most of my normal editing tricks just didn't seem to work well with it. I did try several options before sending my image such as altering the color schemes to draw out the flower, adding a vignette to bring more focus, adjusting light/shadow and even cutting out the background. I found though that most of these (in my opinion) did a disservice to the flower. So I was not sure were to move forward with it. I think that you suggest about the white trim is good step in the right direction for me to take. |

This is a lovely image. I think that your new image is very bold and strong especially with the colors. It really makes me think of clouds. I agree with the others that I do not think there is much that could be changed as you really nailed it with this one. |

The detail in the petals is very nice. I think that the colors are lovely. It is impressive the amount of detail the phone was able to capture. I think that one option you could try is to off center the flower but that would be to make a different piece. |

This is a lovely photo. I never thought of a colored vignette. It gives me a lot more to think about. It really complements the subject well. I think that the vignette really brings out the yellow in the petals. |

Hi Nadia, The edits you made are very nice. I think that the black background really brings out the flower. Overall it is a lovely image and you isolated it well. I agree with the others that the green bud is a tiny bit distracting. I do think that the center of the plant might lend itself well to a macro photo as well. |

Hi Bob, This is a very nice photo. The flower does have a very nice soft quality to it that you really bring out. Beyond that the colors are nice and the image is well centered. |
