69 Aug 22 Comment This is very well done. I like how you have a complementary color scheme with the green of the grass and the red for the cardinal. Personally I like the balance between the bird and the flowers as I think that makes for an interesting composition. Aug 17th
69 Aug 22 Comment The way you darkened the image is really nice. I think it really helps to draw focus to the bird. At first I thought you made it a monochromatic sepia toned image until I saw the beak. It is very well processed and I wouldn't change anything about it. Aug 17th

69 Aug 22 Comment This is a very nice capture. I think the framing is very nice and the vignette helps draw in focus. Looking at the other posts I think the black and white version and the color version work very well. I agree with the other posts that increasing contrast might help draw the bird out more. Aug 16th
69 Aug 22 Comment looking at the original photo and your edit I believe black and white was the right direction as it really did help to remove the background and draw attention to the subject. Personally I don't think there is anything I would have done differently.

80 Aug 22 Comment I love how you isolated the main flower and the texture you used to isolate the background. It really adds an interesting background by making it look like canvas. The purple border of the petals works very well at keeping your flower well defined against the background and it works very well with the colors you picked for the background. Aug 14th
80 Aug 22 Comment I will say that your third image the one you submitted after taking on everyone else's comments is very interesting. The line quality is nice and the colors have a flowing quality to them that gives them a very organic feel. I do very much like the original image before processing but I think each of your versions takes it in interesting directions. Aug 14th
