I really like the subject and the setting. Exposure and DOF are very good. My only problem is with composition. I would prefer to see the farmer positioned between the animals. Odd numbers of subjects tend to be a little more pleasing to the eye As is, he almost seems to be riding the animal giving us two asymmetric subjects. |

To edit the filament, one would need the original images used to make the composite. |

I would title this "Looking at a dim future." Nice sharp capture with areas of interest to draw the eye, especially the concentric waves and the flecks of color in the neck. |

Thanks for the input. I will probably print this image both ways and see what looks best. |

Pete,
I had the same concerns about sharpness. I knew that I should have gone back and done it with a tripod and better coverage of the areas that needed sharpness. (I was just testing you to see if you would catch it!) Which tools did you use to achieve your modification. They worked better than I thought possible. |

Nick,
Bravo! I love composites, but tend to be very critical about the technique. You did an excellent job with this one. The positioning of the woman in the light bulb is convincing, with the feet sunk down into the metal area. The image is both sensual and whimsical, an unusual combination, in my experience. The halo around the bulb is a good addition. My only suggestion would be to work on the filament to make it look either in front or in back of the model. In some areas it looks to be showing through her. I really like your idea on this one. |

Freddie,
I like your choice of the moment to expose this shot. You have some great triangles, curves, and lines working for you. The pose is at the maximum point of stress on the performer's body creating tension for the viewer. Your editing choices were very good, as well.I have no worthwhile suggestions for improvement. Congratulations on an excellent photograph. |

Barbara,
I really like the way that you arranged the flowers and I like how the pearls drape down the side of the vase. Nice choice on B&W and the shallow DOF. If I have any suggestions, it would be to move the vase a little to the right and balance it with the trail of pearls going to the lower left. |

This image must be attracting all of us radiologists. I am fascinated by your results and have copied your instructions to try out. What kind of source image works best? |

Looks like one of my favorite spots in downtown Georgetown, TX. Is it? Fun capture. Looks like a stairway to a hidden treehouse. |
