5 Nov 19 Reply Barbara,
I'm sorry about the confusion. I meant that the photo was taken in front of city hall, but it was taken from behind the steps and seated figure. I hope that this helps fix the disorientation.

5 Nov 19 Comment Nick,
You have quite an imagination! Taking such disparate images to create a cohesive whole is no easy feat. I agree that the compositing is quite good. My only critique is that the fuzziness of the bird in back doesn't work for me. The entire eggshell looks sharp, so the birds should look sharp as well. That is relatively minor, however as the image has great impact because of the unusual subject.Kudos.

5 Nov 19 Comment Oliver,
Congratulations on a great image. The composition and exposure are excellent and your "dehazing" efforts are successful without being overdone. I love the play of the sunlight on the hills. The oblique lines of the fields make the image more dynamic, letting the eye follow them back and forth across the scene. Well done.

5 Nov 19 Comment Phil,
I really like this image. The textures give an impression of a cloud of dust and help to make the subject stand out from the background. I like the color palette. I agree that a little more room on the right would be an improvement, but that does not keep this from being an outstanding image.

5 Nov 19 Comment Thank you, Oliver. Your last comment tells me that I achieved my goal of making interesting images. The seated figure accounts for the title "Alone". My primary goal was to capture the geometric patterns created by the shadows. The solitary figure was a lucky addition that creates a feeling of isolation. Nov 13th
5 Nov 19 Comment I rather like the treatment you gave the whites. It gives an almost surrealistic feel to the image. Nov 11th

6 Nov 19 Comment Wow, just passing by and could not help but stop and stare. The edited image is quite impactful. I love images that force you to think about what is going on, so I loved the aha! moment when I sorted out the frog from the snake. Great capture!
