Good discussion, I love the image with the bright color toned down as it was distracting. As you say it is about capturing the moment, not a setup, so backgrounds are often luck because by the time you have analysed your options you have missed the opportunity. I also prefer un-cropped version. |

I have sent the original with yellow toned down. the money is his business, no one in Sri Lanka asked for or expected money for photos, they were very friendly I have lots of lovely images. It is an field of photography I especially enjoy. |

Thanks Geoff great idea to desaturate the yellow much better. Yes it is part of a bigger image of a family selling coconuts, typical problem with groups father and son looking great, mother looking away at the critical moment, she might have been less keen than the men! So changed the emphasis to the father and the bike, I love the contrast between timeless and modern. |

Interesting, what a different image it is in B&W, quite sculptural and love the "s" curve. In color it has a floating feeling, I enjoy it as well. |
