Great subject but fairly challenging to get your desired outcome. You really would need a tripod to have a sharp image with that long an exposure. F/25 is a very small aperture, considering around f/9-f/12 is the sharpest range for lenses. If you increased the speed you could try waiting for patrons to perhaps walk in or out to get them to blur while the rest is in focus, then you could hand hold. Dropping the f stop and increasing ISO will get the speed up.. I tend to experiment with combinations of aperture and ISO in tricky situations, then you can compare in post to see what you think works best, this is also a great learning exercise.
That green light could be cropped out and the tree side lightened just a little would add to the balance of the image.
A great subject to experiment with as it presents some challenges but could be fun. |

Hi Orest yes I had already cropped some of the canal but kept that so you could see it was a Canal. However I followed your suggestion and it does look a lot better cropped at the end of the orange building. Thanks for that. |

I loved the color and seeing everyday chores still need to happen in an exotic environment. |

I think it tells a lovely story, I also like the color, would be interested to see a slightly tighter crop, just experimenting. |

I agree B&W really suits the image and masks the background, I would be interested to see the result if crop was not quite so tight at the top. |
