Thank you Lou. I avoid photographing people in Davis as it is an issue with the residents. Back in 2019, one lady confronted a photographer and it made the evening news in Sacramento. For the buses, they actually operate in Davis only, which is odd as I don't see a lot of usage for them for most of the year. That does add an element to this project I'm working on as it's designed to show how a small and quirky California town has the amenities of a large city. If this project does get some traction and maybe an exhibit someday, I would be curious to see how the people of Davis would feel as Davis is a rather secretive and mysterious place. |

Thank you Chuck. One of the quirks in Davis is that despite having the services of a large city, Davis does tend to be a very quiet and sleepy town. The residents don't like to be photographed so I do avoid getting people in my images when working on this project. Davis is unique as it does tend to have a mysterious and secretive nature. |
