I like what you did with the background in the 2nd edit,
but I find the cropping makes the man more of a distraction and not part of the story.
Although I do like the blurry background at what point do we get away from street photography (capturing a moment "on the street") and move into "artistic" photography where we manipulate the image to tell a story we want to tell regardless of what truly was there? |

I was taking a break from taking pictures of flowers at the show. I sat down with my Coffee and this couple was 2 tables over. They were having a very heated discussion when all of a sudden they stopped. He looked down at his hands and she looked away. I was just lucky to be there at the right time. By the time I was done with my coffee they were talking, a bit subdued but talking and walked away hand in hand. |

Nice framing/timing of the image. I Like the way you warmed it up a bit and added the slightest detail to the face. It reveals just enough to make it personal and still keep the mystery of the Silhouette. |

Good choice with the B&W. it adds scale and "gravitas" the image which is lacking in the original color. The flowing lines gives it an almost liquid quality and the lone person adds contrasting softness to the image. Great capture!
Makes me want to go back to my old Leica and load it up with TRI-X.

Nice capture !!! I like the symmetry and strong lines of the image. The B&W works very well. Just curious, why did you apply the yellow filter? |
