This is a pretty rose. Handheld macro on a windy day is a practice in patience! I see how you envisioned the leaves as leading lines to the flower. You put a lot of thought into it. I played with editing a bit, mostly because I haven't done any editing in way too long and since you submitted a large file, I had something big enough to work. I really hope you don't mind! All I did was crop, adjust white balance, remove a few more blemishes, and a slight haze removal. When I save it to a small file it loses some of the color saturation, which I appreciate in your original. It's all a matter of preference, isn't it? |

The title if fitting. The softness along with swath of light brushing over it makes this image sensual and romantic. I can see this in a large format print in a feminine bedroom. Nice choice in lighting and color edit. And patience pays off. |

Capturing that sharp of a specific part of an image while handholding the 70-200 with 2 extension tubes at 1/30 gets big kudos from me! The lighting on this is studio quality as well. Very well done. Congrats all around! |

Because it appears that he is looking directly at you, the pupil is clearly defined, which I've found extremely difficult with these little guys. Nicely done. I like the composition with the 3 white flowers on the bottom "supporting" its white belly. |

Nice Crop Denise! Thank you! Isn't it funny to think that this tiny little guy was watching me and I didn't know it until after the fact? Imagine my surprise :) Thank you both Bob and Denise for your feedback! |
