Thanks Doug. I thought it was a flagpole, but it didn't have any ropes or pulleys. It has to be beyond windy considering on the coast and storms that go by that area. I didn't feel the need to remove it. Donna's version shows the alternative in removing the white pole and the sidewalk light posts and the tops of the monuments in the cemetery. Somehow at the moment of editing I felt no need to do major reconstruction. |

Well Well, look at the beautiful colors of the walls and that red fabric hanging on 2nd floor railing. The colors including the waters color also enhance the walls and leads the viewer in under the bridge much more than the Mono version. Peter, keep the this mono for a BW DD. I prefer the color as is or add more vibrancy and or texture. Great seeing. |

I Love it Donna. I tend to not go to that extent on an image that is almost great as I spend time making believe on my creatives. I will keep this as an example how it could be done. Thanks |

That's exactly what I was thinking, however, I think the right side of both feathers could be reduced just a "tad" more with the reflection staying darker than the original. |

Thanks Meredith and Frans for your comments. There were distractions all around this church. This new photo shows what was behind the church and to the left of the front door is the cemetery with abandoned large boat in the horse pasture. I used this version because of light coming from behind me and the background. These other subjects were worthy of their own pics but took away from the church. |

Frans, another beautiful image. I Love your saturated colors, selective focus and lighting. You have proven that access is the key to success and then you photograph to the highest standards. Exceptional. I don't see a thing that I would change. |

Hi Donna. A beautiful location to capture the fields, reflections, and sunset clouds. I might of composed the left rice field by moving closer to the water to remove the taller grass and capturing the reflections behind those grasses. May not be your style but I would have increased the vibrance slider to bring out all the colors I could get from the sky and reflections.

Hi Meredith. You've done a fantastic job with making and combining the multiple images together. Details are sharp to capture the viewers eye and lead into the image. I don't have the solution, but I'm troubled by the mass of feathers in the upper right. They seem overexposed and not as sharp as they are in the lower right. I'm thinking they should be equally sharp and those on the bottom right reflection darkened. I have no idea how I would recommend you accomplish that. Also I personally don't use them but numerous photographers recommend a line (Brain cramp with name) separating the edge of the image with the black of the internet page. Love your idea and vision. |

Peter, I enjoy your composition of the Venice walls and the reflections below in the canal. The walls and reflections lead my eye into the bridge and there they stop. Perhaps there is nothing that can be done about that but I would have looked for a scene that gave me a subject to view. The blank corner walls behind the flag do not help. Nothing I would recommend altering in your image. |

Mark, I Love the water patterns as water comes off the tail. Exposure and composition are great. Perhaps a stroke of luck was the shape of the tail against the shore or island directly above. I wonder if you or PS/LrC selected the "mountain" land mass if you could dehaze (just a small amount) and give the land mass more form, texture and snow/ice to give viewers some ability to understand the conditions that you took the shot under. Not sure the size of the whale watch boats but the sea looks choppy in addition to cold. |

Hi Doug, I like your bold saturated composition and great seeing to spot this as it's probably not a daily show. The texture is enhanced to me, but 200 iso so it must be in the masonry? It gives the image a more solid foundation look. Nice. |

My Bad. Sorry for the delayed response Kamal, I had bronchitis at the beginning of the month. I do appreciate your comments. The Swirly Strokes brings out the translucent back light that resulted from the strong frontlight. I've never thought of it as out of the world but it does catch your eye and as an eagle eyed pilot you are on top of your game. Thanks. |

Thats acceptable Doug. Never thought of that because some purist would come along and say those are Dahlias. I assume you prefer the red ones gone? I Appreciate your ideas and edits. |

Thanks Nadia. I think there's only 4 of the colorful light dahlia's. What troubled me more was the fact that the two red Dahlias lacked much detail and removing them caused the image to be off balance but less so when leaving them in. It was a paid public garden but not receptive to photographers cutting flowers. |

Thanks Ingrid. I'll get out my remove tool to take care of the corners. I'm Not sure on the red as Nadia has other thoughts. |

Rich, this may not fall within your approval area, but I have used the removal tool on many an image. Command Z to undo if it doesn't work but I Have been amazed home the Ai removal fills in. Experiment with the diameter of the selection. Let us know how it works for you. |

Well Rich, you were (are)in an exceptional creative mode to make this all work out. My brain can't do the math, but thats fine, I get to see all of your good planning and photography. I see those colors that Marty noticed, it's probably extra light where you joined the parts together. No, I have no idea how you should avoid.
Beautiful work. |

Ingrid, yes, you did a great job capturing this milkweed. The pointed pods actually open in the fall and show a beautiful array of seeds before they fly. It appears to me that you captured 3 of the pods and one of Doug W's leaves twisted around the cones. The resulting textures and colors are exceptional and the extra leaf just finishes it off making a master piece that you'll never see configured like this again. Well done. |

Kamal, you caught this bee and the peak of action. Your composition is right on target. Exposure values are right on and your background is perfect with no distractions. I do have to suggest that you see if that camera phone can have the shutter speed adjusted manually higher? You needed a faster shutter speed to stop movement and the action of the flower. Stopping movement in the flower is more important than in the bee. The bee should have ideally been captured with the mustard face clearer. Great to see your work progressing every month. |

Doug, this Calla Lilly, must be one of the newer series that is more translucent. I like your composition with the flower leaning to the right. It's appears that the softness is enhanced by your Lensbaby lens that that works for me. The front edges of the Calla Lilly are sharp where it counts. |

Nadia, this is another extremely well done image. I really enjoy the popping colors of the Dahlia and the soft background that enhances the main subject. Leaving the single bud on the right is a great professional touch. Nothing to suggest for improvement or change. |

Marti, I Love the rich colors of this flower. Well exposed and composed. I think I would of made the flower more "vertical" as it seems to lean to the right. |
