Thanks Donna. This image was being sent out for a competition and I wanted to get it as close to perfect as possible. I pulled back on the clarity and hopefully that does it.

Frans, thanks for your comments. Where and how do you see those halos? I have Ps but have not needed to get those details. I use a Mac if that makes a difference. The image is all one layer. I did not do anything with the mountain layering look.
Thanks

I didn't add more orange, but my camera is setup for "more vivid"images so they all come out that way. Using the linear gradient made my shoreline brighter. What do you think? |

Donna, thank you for editing and suggestions. I had previously been told in increase exposure in the foreground water area. Obviously I hadn't done it enough. So attached is my playing around using linear gradient from the midway down, cropped the sky and used more Denoise. |

I have to tell you Peter I don't know what you have created but it screams of an engineering marvel as the black mass does emit light. Unknown if it flies? I'm unaware what using an DXO does. Peter how about you "Enlightening" us? |

Thanks Meredith for this image. I wish you had submitted the original so we might marvel at the edits & filters you used. I really like your sky and the blue water above the mid ground. It matches well and draws my eyes out to see. You've created beautiful light all from that opening in the sky above the top of the rock. Well done. |

Frans, this has so many beautiful details, colors, reflections, and action. I don't see a thing that I would suggest changing. It all goes together perfectly. Matching the colors of the dancers costume to the building colors and reflections is extremely well done. You win, time for me to go home. :-) |

Doug, you are the master of shooting these dried leaves with beautiful details. Hostas? A small nit, I would have flipped horizontal so the stem brought my eyes in from the left and the stem to the top. |

Mark, this is an interesting winter shot at Longwood. The ducks are present but the time of day places them in the shade. The tree that is behind the blue ornament appears to be lit the best and has a nice reflection. I would have rearranged the scene by removing the blue ornament and hopefully leaving the tree and reflection. The tree and reflection is the composition that pulls my eye into the scene. Some times the scene makers miss the part that pulls you in. Not your fault but if I braved the cold I would also brighten the ducks to give the scene some Wow. |

I Love your composition Donna of the 3 Swans with different stages of taking flight. The background has nice detail and nothing distracting. The only tiny nit is, the birds could be more white on the bottom but I'd be happy with it if mine. |

Ingrid, I Love the "art deco" version, I prefer the color scheme. It drags my eyes to view it closer. |

Thanks Ingrid. The Sony is the backup camera that my wife previously used, but she's not shooting much and when she does, her iPhone 16 so the Sony doesn't get used. I still prefer my Nikon, as it's much more familiar since I have been using versions since My D100 in 2003/4. It is a great camera and the lens range coupled with the high speed shutter makes it a great camera. |

Doug, I understand, we were under the deadline gun. There was no label on the edited image. I have to use Primary (center and largest) and Original 1,2,3. so primary is always the edited or unedited if only 1 is submitted. Not reasonable to change at this point. |

An excellent job of creating the flower and going thru all of the color modes to create this one of a kind flower Rich.

An Excellent capture and edit. Isn't it more fun using the new tools to select and change a color. A perfect capture showing all the s and veins and edges of the pedals. Very good job. |

Yes, I think Doug went overboard on this edit. As one who does different editing, I like the edited image as an abstract, just don't like the thinking that the two are "twins from another mother"as the saying goes. I do wonder if you, Doug, made a Black&White of the original?

Beautiful Iris Nadia. One of my favorite flowers also. That reminds me to go hunting for images. Nothing in blossom, or growing, outside at this time of year. Your usual A+ background is so perfect. |

Well done Marti. And my favorite addition. Water drops add so much. The bud also foretells more beautiful blooms. No suggestions for improving.
