Karen, A great image captured. Beautiful background and lighting. I can't help but wonder if we had the meta data included lens mm, we might be able to help you with making the image look more natural. You might of cropped it severely or not had a large enough f-stop to get his head fully in focus. I've had that camera and was very pleased with it. |

Hi All. I've been away. I Love Judy's edit to make a very interesting image. I really enjoy the discussion as this is the road I've been traveling for years now. I spend time looking at older digital images from the 2000's and see so many more edits and compositions that I didn't know I had taken. If you pressed the shutter button or filter button in post, you have created photographic art and most of us enjoy the result. July I've given in to you and have downloaded Tiny Planets and Circular to enhance my edits. Happy to join you Judy in the abstract world. |

Elaine, I've not seen this location before. You did a fantastic job getting the image nice and sharp and getting the blue hour sky. Using the wide angle lens allowed you to record the image perfectly. Your choice of using Photo Ai was another wise decision. Well done. |

This is a fantastic PJ photo Tim. The expressions of ALL 3 are priceless. No issue on the background as we all know the limitations on editing PJ shots is zero. Thanks for sharing. |

Thanks Karen, I represent those children. I don't understand, in this case I didn't do any drawing or anything beyond making the composite. You didn't state which original you thought was gorgeous. Reflections without a subject or a landscape with very little color or interest?

Bob, I disagree with your comments about the sky as a reflective surface. No sky is in the image, but sky reflections are seen in the water. I disagree with increasing the shadows. Next time I'll make more of an abstract and stay away from a straight composite. |

Thanks for your Van Gogh vibe comment, he made many Abstracts and he didn't give others the ability to see the originals. I respectfully disagree with your heavy and dark comments. |

Thanks Judy. I'm a little surprised about being busy coming from you. Abstracts, are generally busy. I can understand those that don't favor the composite, but I cannot understand favoring the originals. Neither can stand alone and gather any kind of approval from a camera club or PSA judge. Oh well. |

Understand your pain Bob. May of 2023 I had Mohs surgery in the crease of my nose. It's just about completely back to normal. Oh, Yes! Flower business. This is a lovely arrangement. Sharp, exposed well and almost well composition. Perhaps if you felt better you would have eliminated that hole in the top right that goes out to the table. Stay well. |

Thanks Ingrid, I like Orig 1 also and have used that motion/zoom filter before but I wanted to get opinions on the braided flowers and that is what you have done.
Thanks again |

Nadia, these are tulips from Amsterdam as seen in Original #2. Experimental as all at the spring displays. Thanks, but I shouldn't take any positive credit as that polar coordinates is a creation of Adobe and mirrored images. It's always a surprise when viewing the result. |

Thanks Doug. Your crop does a better job of highlighting the faces and colors in the image. The way to prevent this would have been for me to crop before the polar coordinate was produced. |

Ingrid, I think Doug's version with the darkened left edge doesn't look natural and I would suggest you mright crop out those bright areas on the left side. |

Ingrid, this is a beautiful peony that you have captured here. The inside of the center is an added bonus. I wonder if you had tried to reduce the white highlights on the center and left sides? Your preference, but I would see if the remove tool removed the ant, lower center and the floral defect on the lower portion of the center. Just a small matter that you might want to do. |

Kamal, very nice flowers, reasonably sharp and composed well. Like Marti, I would be more in favor if that background has something like a Gaussian blur after masking the flowers. I also find the sky distracting, and believe it can be darkened, or cloned, but needs to not cause my eyes to go to that top edge. Flowers are the subject and no need to distract the viewers eyes. |

Doug, fantastic to see your comments in the first half of the month. I think you'll also have a wider chance to get more points of view, like Marti's comment on the stem and background. I also think that there is no conflict of colors between the stem and background. The muted background makes for more contrast with the brilliant colors and the sharp details of the tulip. I do very little stacking, lack of patience, I guess. 3 images and go for another angle or another flower. I believe that Helicon has the majority of the market and your results prove that it works fantastic. Well done. |

Nadia, I really like this color. It is unique in the shrub Rose category. The mixture of that violet color and the rich green foliage and your perfecto background is magnificent. Thank you for sharing. |

Marti, I like your image because of its soft pink and green colors. I shoot and process so much in bold/vivid that I need to create other color schemes as they are often liked more from the females and when it comes to flower photography the females are in the majority. Marti, I also like that your flower parts are nice and crisp.Well done. |

Thanks Marti, Yes I am generally happier with the 1:1 crop but I do these full frame sometimes just for the fun of it. |
