I think is more interesting angle, but off course the weeds could have been the important factor. It doesn't cost much to be a packrat. Good Job finding it. |

Ron, I apologize as it looks very similar, The government built near duplicates, as the Portland Maine lighthouse appears shorter and has 1 more window. Ron, Great job of capturing well under the circumstances. Mine is a scanned slide from before 2004 with great blue sky and clouds, but I like your sunset clouds better. |

Ron, this looks like Portland Head Light, Maine. Not sure how you did this but it is an interesting capture with some descrepancies from the Portland Head Light. As a Creative I like it. |

Gunter, I like the interesting subject. Farmers often parked their old equipment in the fields of NH, VT and ME. This one with metal wheels has been retired for many years.
I think I might step to the left and back some to capture more details of the machinery. That also might fix the blurry tall grass on the lower right. The sky replacement is very well done and realistic. |

A very nice capture Karen. I to like fall colors reflecting in water and your colors are ideal. Great composition. I wondering what I'm seeing to the top side of the right hand goose. It's brown like the colors of baby geese. Or maybe you removed or cloned something? It doesn't really detract from the image but a photo judge might pick up on it. |

Judy, I like your old image composition, scale and colors. Gunter's filling in with location info gives it more a sense of place for someone like me that has not traveled via vehicle in Canada best of Ontario. |

Excellent job Elaine. You can now take another step and add textures or other Ps filters using the same favorite flowers. Even make a copy, flip (making mirror image) and use different blend modes. Months of optional edits if you so choose, and I'm not suggesting it is needed, just that I've (and others) have followed the path to more creativity. Your arranging the composition is a first step that is not easily done in the field. Beautiful. |

Another fantastic PJ shot Tim. Great action, sharp and full of detail. Nothing to add except that color might be beneficial. |

Thank you very much for sharing the image and edits made. I can't say that I like the pollen mess that the White Asian Lilly presented you. Buts that's nature. You made the best of it with a beautiful background and water drops. |

A beautiful Rose that followed you home and gave you a beautiful image. A very nice job making a dark background using the inverse selection. I do like the texture that looks to be in/on the original image. No suggestions, all is beautiful. |

Rich, a very nice capture. Composition works and the bee leads my eye into the flower. I do not believe you can control the bees wing position. They move so very fast and are transparent so not to worry, in my opinion. I do wonder about the catch light in the eye. It looks like studio flash. Are you sure you didn't paste in a studio light and flying bee? |

Thank you Rich for your comments. I am trying to show everyone that I can do muted colors and soft images. But No, Your first comments destroy my Artistic Softie approach. Maybe others will have a different comment. |
