This is a beauty also, but those rocks in the foreground would cause some to lose favor with it. Maybe a longer lens can remove much of the foreground rocks. I'm just much more in favor of the composition from the water flowing from the 3 vs the 1 and 1 quarter levels. Either way, I'd be going there regularly. |

A very good image Ron. Yes, sometimes we take chances to make great pics. Your editing was also very good to catch the highlight in eyes and vacations in his beard. My only suggestion would be to tone down the letters of Times Square just beyond his mouth. Love the vertical head hair also. |

A great goose pose makes your image Karen. Very good shutter speeds to stop this motion as I doubt it lasted very long at all. A slight nit would have cropped at the very top of the image the brighter grass. It draws my eye out of the image and adds nothing. Well done. |

Well, Gunter your image surely lacking the color and in your face composition as many others. However, I like your approach of including all the beautiful skelitons of the trees. The fog and approaching darkness add to the image as well as the truck with lights on. That truck brings my eyes into the image. Without it you would have been lacking. I can't readily see an improvement I would suggest. |

Judy, I see you major problem, you are always looking up and down and missing the interesting subjects on the level. Nothing else to say, a beautiful image, well composed and exposed. |

An excellent job Elaine. Waiting for the rain helped to reduce the brightness of the rocks. I Love your choice of shutter speeds for this image. Just the right amount of detail and the water is white. Only thing I might of done in my younger years is to climb up to get a shot of the upper falls. Hope you did that one also. The number of levels is higher (3) and that would eliminate the gap of non interesting real estate between the lower and upper falls. |

Another fantastic PJ image from my friend across the pond. Beautiful cow faces, especially the one with all the hay in its mouth. I know ear tags are distracting, but having no tags would immediately remove this great image from any PJ contest or publication. My only nit would be to darken the hay to the right bottom of the image.
Excellent job of getting them all cleaned up and their heads thru the bars so no blocking of pretty smiles. |

Doug, I'm NOT a Ps pro at all. Creativeness came from using Studio 2 and then I've been trying to find ways to do those edits in Ps. Pardon me for not knowing the correct names in Ps. After importing I use the selection tool. Sometimes subject and then refining the selection with the "QuickSelectionTool" and that tools allow you to add or subtract any parts of the image. Then you can manipulate that image or "inverse" or by color or by focus. Now the "swirl" is the name used under Topaz Motion and type of motion. Ps uses the name "Twirl" I'm sorry if I confused you on that as I can't remember and have been using Twirl/Swirl. Each program has its strengths and it comes down to your own preferences which one you use. I suggest picking a favorite look or filter and work with that on multiple images to refine what you want. I've thought about moving beyond the twirl/swirl but have failed to come up with anything better. Since I have many flower images that's what I practice and refine. Math is a weak point for me but Ps Filters>Distort> is where I find solutions that are different and many have sliders with numbers and those confuse me. You've already shown where you that that creative ability, even from your first leaf Skelton. I'll do what I can to help you. |

Doug, I like your Generative Fill very much. And you write about lacking Ps tools, but yet you mailed this fill job like a pro. Well Done

Hi Doug. Thanks for your comments. I use Studio 2. I don't keep track of opacity amounts. I've been making my swirl/twirls in both Ps and Studio. It comes down to the mask selection process (which is now easier in Ps) and the flowers/colors that swirl/twirl. I am leaning more to Ps as tools like the remove tool allow me to remove/delete portions or parts that I cannot easily do in Topaz. Topaz Studio currently has a DEAD END as it is no longer being updated. I do not have any issues with software not working etc. with Studio2. The motion blurs are done in Studio filter/motion but am learning to make them in Ps.
I do love your version above and will try to see if I can come close. |

Thank you Nadia. To keep my editing simplified :-) I changed the colors by simply changing the light blending to Exclusion but did increase the brightness of the yellow in the center. I have short term memory issues so I'm hesitant to make too many changes together as I won't have a clue what I did. Since I'm following the no rules road I attempt to reproduce similar images. Glad you like some of my abstract work. |

A nice image Rich. I'm personally not in love with this flower. The extra part to the right is distracting to me with the light background below and to the rear just detracts from the main flower and I can't envision a better way to present it, but I would select flower, select background and darken them both in hopes of removing the distraction. |

Very nice image Ingrid. My only suggestion would be to remove the red marking from the upper left petal. Perhaps the Botanical garden has found a way to claim copyright? Ps "Remove" should do a very good job removing that. |

Nice image Kamal. Good exposure and edits. I do agree with Rich that I would have not placed the texture on the flower. I do many of my flowers both ways to see if the subject looks better with the texture of not. A very minor nit, is that the bottom right corner leaf be removed rather than having that tiny bit show and while at it, would crop the top to remove those two stems also be cropped as Marti has done. |

Doug, this is another one or your interesting compositions and edits. I agree that this is one of those images that look better in B&W. The stacked focus gave this image a great amount of depth. My only nit would be to suggest if the whitish and ragged portion of the upper loop would be darkened to reduce the flaw in the stem. Yes, I'm concerned with making your beautiful image more perfect. |

A very nice image Nadia. The exposure, sharpness of flower and raindrops and composition are excellent.
I would also like to slightly reduce the yellow tone on the left edge.
Well done

A nice image you have created Marti from the original image. The image is certainly enhanced after you edited the butterfly. My one suggestion is whether a cropping from the top down to bring the butterfly up and does that give you a better composition you can live with? |

Thank you Rich. It's a new attempt to make my images more complex than the single flower or group of flowers and to make the colors less vibrant, like Marti mentioned. I'm just having fun and not following any rules. The bottom line is can I do another somewhat similar? Yes, Rich, I am getting more confident that I can make something out of nothing. But some subjects I have much more difficulty with. Generative AI makes something from something or groups of things and mine has my personal touch. It cost me nothing other than time and I'm creating for myself. |
