Great suggestion Gunter. It just makes it more difficult for some to envision the transition from the Dahlia, But I LOVE your Swirl. |

Ron, while the image is exposed well and sharp I'm looking for the center of interest and I think it is located to the right and all the up to the front left and completely out of sight. I do love the arches and the designs in the ceiling and the stain glass windows. I agree the ceiling and arches are the center of interest. |

A well executed composite. Eagle is in proper sized as long as 17mm is not mentioned and it is located in empty area of the sky. I believe that I would increase the exposure of the foreground, it's just too dark. I would also try to flip horizontal and see if that composition would lead the viewers eye into the eagle rather than the eagle just flying by. Make it the center of interest because the tree or the sky are just not strong enough to be center of interest. |

Another beautiful Creative/Abstract image Judy. You spend too much time looking up. You do so many great images using your cell phone. You are going to be responsible for me taking out my cell phone and trying to make a fantastic image.
Keep it up or spend more time being navigator and not using your iPad. :-) |

Yes, I had you pegged as a Pro PJ from years gone by using a D1. A great composition and good focus. I agree with Gunter that causing some motion would be desirable, the rear wheel looks great. No more selective PJ rules I hope. I love the grit and dust behind. Great image Tim. |

A nice composition Elaine and the background makes for no distractions. I do find the exposure to be right on the mark so to say. I do don't understand the depth of field in this image as the green buds are in focus but the white flowers appear to be not sharp. A couple of thoughts the f18 should have given you good depth unless the white flowers are further back than they appear? You have a great camera and 100mm Macro lens. I have a suggestion that you change your iso to 400 or 800 and shoot at F11 and you won't notice any noise and I'm left with the idea that the 25sec exposure same with slight camera or flower movement. Was your camera tight on the tripod? Possible that it moved during exposure? Also you might of focused on the green buds vs the flowers. Great idea, just think that the flower could be sharper and Topaz Photo is great. Did you select subject and refine on the flower? Sorry, if two many questions. |

A nice image Karen. I love the fog, calm waters and colorful subjects in Peggy's Cove. I wouldn't change a thing except look for a location that included the famous lighthouse. |

Nadia, you did give me a very good answer/solution to change color and or tonality for any image. My brain is scrambled because of my move this coming week and packing this week that I'm not able to try your solution at this time. It makes sense and I have used some pieces of these edits before, just not on this image. I appreciate your help and will get back to you after I have become organized and give it a go. |

Thank you Nadia, I understand write white or colors near the edge is not recommended and neither is a vignette that shows itself, so in a standard image with multiple tones a light vignette works, but in lines with almost the same color, what does one do?

I understand Doug. I only find a small selection of flowers that the extrude filter works well on. In the Ps filter list Distort but you need to have a portion of the image selected for it to b become active. Can add and remove parts by using the selection tool, and deselect command and then use different Twirl settings and a more complicated the image the longer it takes to achieve a good Twirl. Use Opacity and multiple blend modes and time flies by but it is a worthy making of art. Give it a try and let me know if you need more info. |

Rich, another super job with a warm weather flower. I'm drawn in by the translucent middle of the image. The yellow of the stem and center flower parts contribute to the inner beauty, and the sharp focus and depth of field just make this image fantastic. |

A very nice image Kamal. Good to see you being more creative with your images. Especially great to see you removing the distracting background. Nice composition. One thought, perhaps using a lighter yellow Hue to give them a touch of reality? |

Doug, this is a beautiful specimen and I really like the colors and specimen. You have really master that Lensbaby. I checked on the center of the flower and I see those webs that Rich found. Minus 1 point for not dusting or erasing the cobwebs. Way too close for the average observer, but I couldn't come up with any other suggestions. Great job. |

A great job Nadia with creating the background frame and allowing the beautiful poppies to not be taken away by the distracting background. The beautiful butterfly is just the right location, size and color to make a great piece of art. Well Done. |
