Thanks Judy for your positive words. I've only done in the grocery store. Some weeks lots of holes and not great flowers. Other times I caught it at peak. |

Oops. Sorry for not commenting on your edit. It's nice and I could say it's as nice as mine but your colors created by the opacity are much more subdued, but not a thing wrong with it. |

Thanks Gunter for your comments and suggestions. I thought you were an ally in the bold color field. Yes, I failed to make note of the opacity, I just went by visual and will try it again on another group of flowers. Glad you like the Expressionism filter. |

Ron, I didn't see you list Lightroom and select sky, it does an amazing job but if it fails, try selecting subject and invert or use. Seems via your list you might someone who uses Photoshop tools, many videos on YouTube. I think you'll really enjoy Adobe's updates. I also use MattK presets that work dynamically just scroll them and biggest decision might be whether this is a light sky or dark sky. Good luck try newer features. |

Ron, it Topaz Studio 2, that's still free but won't be updated. The filter is labeled "Motion" and multiple types with masks that can be copies onto different layers and besides the amount of zoom and direction, don't forget the Opacity slider. That is the secret sauce. Sometimes they are in bad shape and other times the flower girl has just refreshed them, I just whip out the iPhone and start clicking. Take 2-6 and go on my way. Enjoy |

Gunter, this is puzzling my senior mind. I see where this image shows monochrome petals, but I would not use the lime green to show it. So you get an A for your assignment but a C because it hurts my eyes. |

Very Nice tree, sky. snowy mountains. Nice composition and foreground grass textures. Only suggestion would be to go back at different time or day so you wouldn't have blown out sky parts. |

Another Beauty Judy. Not seeing all the parts that make up your stairway but it works and the color scheme is very good also. |

Nice shot Elaine. nice details on the feathers and eye. Good use of Topaz Photo for sharpness and reducing the noise. The bars in the background still gives an indication of shot taken at the zoo. But not a shot you could get in the wild. Well done Elaine. |

A Great capture Tim by being ready with the hi iso and high shutter speed and f11 that I always tend to use for most of my shots. Can't see anything I might change. |

Israel, hope this finds you and your family in a safe place. I favor Pete's edits because he has reduced the extreme contrast on parts of the model and bringing some detail into the window area behind the model. Your photo group that you travel with does get you into special places and settings. The models face in your version is light very well. I think it just has too much contrast and opening up the shadows with get you the results you want.
Stay well. |

A very nice composition, Bunny. The benefits of looking up with your camera. I use my 14 Pro more than I used to, but don't have the confidence of quickly making adjustments and holding steady on long range shots. I normally carry my Nikon with 28-300 and that covers what ever pops up. Thanks for the tip turning off the sharpening. Back in August I went to the ocean to capture Full Moon rise over the ocean. I ended up using the Nikon and those came out well, but after dark I mounted the phone on a hotshoe clamp and those images came out fairly sharp but were severely noisy and haven't been able to fix them. The phone is setup for Adobe raw. Now let's see an abstract from the inside of the roof. You always do such great stuff Bunny. |

A Great idea Emil, just brush out all of that stuff. I'm sure easier with the newer tools and I have a bunch of lily images to work on, but not sure I have the time. Really excellent composition to isolate the stems and 1 reflection. No suggestions. |

Hi Pete. Nice composition, sorry that bright colors didn't work in this image. Hopefully the colors are in other images. I have to agree with most of Emil's edits. For a photog who did most in Ps man has he mastered the LrC. Emil, only suggestion I have is when I dehaze too much and it leaves very noticeable areas in amongst the branches and I see that on the two taller trees in the foreground. Pete, I think your image can be given more depth by adopting many of Emil's edits. |

Nadia, thanks for letting us know that sometimes the new tools don't work as good as the old proven ones. I do however bet that Adobe will keep at it and oneway it will work on everything. I hope. Your work substantially improved the image. Thanks for sharing. |

I like your beautiful Red Lily. Cropping out the partial flower at the bottom works great. I know you don't have access to the latest Adobe editing tools and the "Remove" tool but if you did, I would use it to remove the "mud" spots on the leaves. Great job in capturing this beauty, Kamal. |

Hi Doug. That's very nice Dahlia. I like your idea of the vignette and placing a mask over the center of the flower, although your velvet Lensbaby might of done a lot of that for you. Not taking anything away from your skills, however, I think I would have selected the flower as subject and manipulated the background color. It's the feather (not soft enough?") of the Vignette filter and the merge to lighter pink.
HOLD THAT. My wife just came in and thought it was fantastic and no other way for the lower pink petals to be shown and to change nothing. |

Jacob, the colors on your Morning Glory are beautiful and go well with therein foliage. It appears to be sharp. Unfortunately your other projects leave you little time to take new images and do basic editing beyond very minor crops. Maybe you could select the flower and remove the white trim from the left side. I can't put in all the energy into an edit while you sit back and expect all of us to give you ideas.
It looks perfect just the way you submitted. |

Kathryn, this is a very interesting method for making an abstract. Not sure if I could ever come close to making something like this as you are such an expert in making backgrounds. I love the water drops and the in an out of the petals. I couldn't suggest anything to enhance. Think I have a dahlia similar to this and when I can find some time, might give it a try. thanks |

Nadia, the raindrops add to this beautiful image. I think I would have tried the new PS remove tool as it is amazing. Give it a shot on the RAW image and let us know if it works. Not saying you needed to remove, but this is a case where the artist didn't want it. |
