Thanks Gunter. That's a great idea, and I'm not a great Ps user either. Those lines come from stamens of the flower and if erased in the beginning of the twirl will, I think, remove other lines that are desired down deeper into the center. But I appreciate the idea and perhaps someone will come up with the answer. |

Wow. Several took the easy route and commented on the crop and colors. I was hoping to get comments/suggestions on composition. So I'll push the envelope so to speak and include the cropped version and my original. Any other comments including something you might of done for an edit? |

A very nice painterly effect to the scene you created Ron. I like the opening you found in the foreground evergreens making way for the eyes to wander in the colors behind. A great idea blending the Topaz abstraction filter with the HDR effect in Ps. I agree that Gunter's clone tool did a great cleanup. Good seeing to find this image amongst a whole forest of images. |

Gunter, I like the composition trailing off to the upper right. I've not found a beautiful clump like you have here. Perhaps later in the day or cloudy, but a tad increase of the exposure will make these jump out at the viewer. You already confessed to liking vivid colors. Well done. |

I really like this composition Karen. I can't remember seeing another version where the arch is so perfectly framed to intersect the dome spire with intention and intersecting the court house perfectly aligned. The shutter speed could perhaps be enhanced to improve the water fountain. I did find a little nitch to the right of the center and under the railing is an orange float or light. That could be edited out I'm sure. Well done Karen. |

Certainly was the best camera you had with you. I like the red wheels and the wood work. I do wonder if there was anything out of the camera view that would have told the story that this was part of an old flour mill. Framed nicely. |

A great street photo Tim. Fantastic seeing the opportunity unfolding before you. The other stores and mother and kids walking on the sidewalk all added to the scene. Perhaps you needed not to title it incognito as those arm tattoos could narrow down the bakers fairly quickly. Now for the question of the hour. Did you buy the cookie before or after shooting the image?? Either way a great shot. |

Well done Israel. I don't have an issue with your sky replacement. They are more pleasing than the stark blue sky. I do not favor the border you used. Yes, it is respective of old photos but takes away from your image. Another great image.

A beautiful building documentary image. Beautiful lighting, and composition and a great tonal range. No suggestions as how to improve. |

A well composed image and I would leave the Sears tower as it is a minor portion of the image. I also like the idea of opening up the shadows or bringing back the highlights slider. I enjoy the lines generated by the perspectives of the buildings. Your image Mark is a good reminder to look up when walking amongst large buildings. And I learned some history as that building is 16 stories tall, but was once the tallest building. I believe it is named for the Monadnock Mountain in southern NH. Where the mountain stands alone or isolated from surroundings. |

Well done Emil. I'd keep this for sure, but, I would also try to incorporate some Twirls or Swirls to make it more interesting. |

Wow, look at all these comments. Sorry for being late to the show. A great Bear photo that is sharp and well exposed. I think you were right to remove the sky via cropping and cropping off the area on the upper left of the bears rear. I do favor the right eye as edited by Pete. Always best to have both eyes out of the shadows.
Well done.
Yes, I have had bad cards, Delkin that they replaced quickly (Card had two rows of contacts) and were not compatible as stated. I did't lose anything as I always record duplicate to the 2nd card and backup to a small SSD drive at night. |

Now you and Pete have gone over the edge. My flower abstracts are going up in smoke. :-). I Love the ideas this group comes up with and the editing abilities to go along with it. Fantastic job with adding the eyes, Bunny, |

Thanks Doug. Studio2. Filters>Motion>Partial use of zoom to smooth out the background and then new filter layer and use brush or favorite tool to select a portion of the image you don't want to move then another filter layer changed to Swirl and move it all around to get the desired result.

Thank you for your comments Nadia. I appreciate your positive comments about color and pattern. I understand and accept with a smile your comments about being "way out" from a flower and since your comments about this image stay away from being really "beyond" I'll put you in the 50% group. I'll continue my editing techniques and hope to improve my batting average with you. |

Kamal, this is a beautiful poppy with great composition, no intersecting parts, and a nice soft background. My little niche is the flower does not appear to be tack sharp. My guess is that you shot at a slower shutter speed than was needed to either stop your motion or movement of the flower. Try to shoot at a higher iso giving yourself a better chance of stopping the motion. Keep up the good work. |

Yes, I've tinkered with the AI in the beta version some. The key will be to find the correct group of words and if PSA will limit to "your" library of images. I asked for an image with a darker background to add mixed flowers. It failed to add anything, ut we are still early in the game. |

A wonderful "Note from Spring" that truly is a work of art. A well conceived plan coordinating the azalea and your backgrounds handwritten note. I can't see a thing that needs any tweaking. We done Kathryn. |

Doug, you have taken the original rose and transformed to a beautiful pink rose. Nice and sharp around the center where it needs to be sharp. Wondering if you tried using content aware fill on the petal to the right of center that has the protrusion in a darker tone. Everything else is beautiful. |

A very beautiful image Jacob. I Love the translucent effect you have created. Only a couple of minor suggestions. Mast the flower center and increase the luminance and see if the healing brush can do a repair to the bottom of the petal at 7'oclock. |
