That's Great. I've only to Minnesota once, back in 1963 or 64. I went with Boy Scouts on a 10 day wilderness canoe trip out of Ely. What a beautiful state and area to enjoy. I found some slides from back then. Much larger than 35mm, I'm thinking 120 or 126. Of course terrible quality compared to todays cameras etc.
Used your Lightning trigger yet? Maybe like here and hasn't been hot enough but into the 80's next several days. |

Thanks LuAnn. All healthy here. While gone, I was thinking of you in Minnesota. I somehow think you are far away from all that happening in Minn-St Paul area? Stay Well. Bob |

Good for you Israel taking that Still Life Course. This is a super idea that you have handled very well. Your edit, enlarging the right side, fixes that little nit.

Bunny, This is a beautiful image. Excellent composition and I like your tonal ranges as they bring out the sawtooth details of the petals. Can't think of any changes I could suggest. |

Emil and Oliver. I like your edits bringing out excellent tones in the sky, mountains, dust and foreground.. I do prefer Olivers that removes the distracting noise and smooths out the tones in the image, but I like even better that Emil was able to capture the storm with an interesting sky and beautiful composition. |

Very well done LuAnn. Maybe not as planned, but the resulting BW image has so much more detail in the petals & veins that get lost in the color version. Well done. |

Oliver, I like your editing on this image. The gate and lighting on the reader lead my eye in to the subject. I agree that the tops of the gate posts look better not cropped. I am not distracted by the background and might of slightly increased the tonality in the background leaves. I appreciate the editing on the reader, bench, stones and fence. All of your editing takes a static image and makes it pop. Well done. |

Oliver, LuAnn, Bunny, Leah and Emil. Sorry for not replying individually. I've been away and without my passwords to comment. Thank you to everyone for your kind words and wonderful edits. I guess I was correct when submitting this image that it gave everyone a chance to be creative. Glad it worked out that way. I Love both the edits from LuAnn and Oliver. It is the kind of image where there is no wrong edit, just different visions. Thanks Everyone. |
