The BW version of your image Oliver is excellent. Love the leading lines and the sky is to die for. The tonality works for me. I agree with the comments above that you submitted the wrong "original" image. Yes you can crop a portrait to a landscape but why would you do that when the original of the Mono doesn't have any flaws. At the very end of the road, the telephone poles and road do not match up between the 2 images. Very awesome if you were able to make a sky look like the Mono from the sky in the original. |

I also like your final revised version Israel. All of those cars do not enhance the image. The 1 car with the footprints leading up the dune really tells the story about multiple people climbing. The shadow side of the dune was a great find and well one in conjunction with the gray side and the white sky. Great job. |

I like the composition of the horse, and old pickup outside the coral. Being a photog who likes plenty of contrast from Black to White, I find Hattie's interpretation more to my liking. Perhaps Gary meant to add more of a dreamy look to the image with his edits since he had thoughts (dreamy?) about his Pals health. In that case it works for me. |

I agree with the excellent composition telling a story about child safety and why was a playground built nearby, but I do not link it to global warming. We need electricity and in urban environments playgrounds sometimes co-exist as families do not want to live next to the substation. I like the tonality of the image with Oliver's sky edits. |

Good triangular composition of the subjects, I also agree that the background is too busy, but I also think you had little flexability to change the composition for the better. A long lens to blur the background might of worked if you had multiple attempts to get the jumper in the right spot. You did well. |

Thanks to all for your comments. I actually used Nik Silver Efex control points to brighten up the 3 bars and the headlight lens. Looks like I got carried away with my late night edit. Thanks for the suggestions as they are all helpful.
