You have captured a pin sharp image with great depth of field. The eye is a great focal point being so sharp. I agree with Larry though that we need more room on the right hand side to see what it is looking at. |

Hi Jeffery just read all the above comments and cannot add anything more other than maybe buy a canon. |

Thanks Larry for your comments much apricated. With the 1.4 extender on the canon 100/400mm lens you are limited to a starting "F" stop of F8 |

The gills of the mushroom look amazing with them all being pin sharp, with the backlighting of the mushroom adding great contrast to the image. Just a couple of suggestion I would add in that maybe when you are cropping the image you could twist it slightly so that the stork enters from the bottom of the left hand corner so it can lead your eyes into the image. Also I would darken the highlights in the top of the image as they are drawing my eyes to them. |

Well done with this capture, you have captured all the elements just right. The bird is pin sharp and the depth of field is spot on. The only comment that I have is the same as Sherry and Larry in that you need to leave room for the bird to swim into. |

In my opinion I thing that this a wonderful capture under the conditions. You have positioned the bird nicely on the lefthand vertical line with the bird looking to the right. The birds eyes, front wing and feet look pin sharp but I feel due due to the 5.6 "F" stop the depth of field has started to drop off as you were focus on the eye an has created a more softer image on the back of the wing. |
