The Bonsai definitely creates an interesting shape, as Arne has said the light in the top of the picture needs to darken down and I would lighten the bush of the tree to make it stand out more. |

Angela I thing this a great picture and with some of Arne's changes it would become a competition winning b/w picture. Well done |

Well done Arne what you set out to do has worked with a small amount of blur across the bodies is evident. To me I find the picture to be a bit dark and with slight amount of lighting the blur would be more evident. |

Hi Ata
I think you have certainly captured the concentration on his face, and the B/W conversion works well, the only problem I have with the image is that the telephone pole seems to be growing out of his phone, to improve the picture you could have removed the poles and power lines to remove this distraction. |

Nice picture, I agree with Sherry's comments about cropping the image further. With some work with ACR around the face area it would make it an even better picture. |

The cactus and the needles are pin sharp and the background is blurred beautifully, my only comment would be if possible if you can rotate the picture to the right so that the heart shape is square to the frame. |

Great picture, not much else I can say with all these good comments, as Randy has said with a little bit work on the background you could turn this picture into an even better one. |

Great picture, tells a lovely story with the bird with its nesting material. You have really nailed the background. The sharpness seems to me to be a bit flat, around the belly of the bird and slightly with the white highlights slightly blown out but this could be because the image size we are required to send. |

Thanks Sherry, after doing more research I think you are right it is a Nankeen Kestrel of Australian Kestrel. |
