Howard, I like the changes that you made... a lot. By the way it was tough to get to the base of the tower that is why I opted to shoot from the footbridge. |

Lee Ann, this image makes me laugh as well. It is certainly unique and unusual. I agree that you have done a great job "cleaning it up". One suggestion would be to be to use the healing brush and blend the building in the upper right corner. |

Peter, this isa beautiful image. The white background and the black on the birds provides an amazing contrast. Very well done. |

Ricarda, I love the detail of the photo and especially the subtle colors on the stem of the flower and the yellow bud. I agree with flipping that just adds a new dimension to the photo. I would also do a tighter crop. |

Helen,
It is hard to believe that this was taken with your iPhone. The detail is amazing with just enough of the foliage through the window to catch your eye. In particular I like the ceiling as it adds another dimension to the image. Very nice capture. |

Helen,
Thanks for your comments. The Tower was constructed in 1929 and if you follow this link there is a brief history:

Longwood is a wonderful place to visit and photograph. |
