Howard, thanks for your comments. The open aperture was a quick decision as I was shooting on the edge of the highway. I agree with the structure on the right. |

I might suggest trying to straighten the building as it leans left to right. Also the top of the image(sky)is different which could be fixed with a little crop. I also think the foreground could be cropped. |

Bob, All good points but getting a different angle could be problematic. I had to stop on the highway to get the angle that I captured. |

Lee Ann, thanks for the detail on the capture. With all that was involved in getting the shot and the detail in post processing this is a very nice image. |

I agree with Bob, the shot is crisp and very clear with fantastic detail. Taken handheld makes this quite an accomplishment. A tighter crop may be beneficial. |

I am very fond of the Oil Paint effect. It was a wise choice for the Irises as it compliments the image very well and adds the surreal effect. The yellow in the flowers adds a nice pop. Very well done! |
