Thanks, Bruce. Now that I have had the camera for a couple of weeks, I have learned so much! After looking at the images more, I do agree that the emphasis should have been more on the bee in my first image! |

Bruce,
I've never seen an elk so up close and personal. It is quite amazing how he is just roaming around and making himself comfortable at the lodge in Yellowstone. The part of the photo that I find amusing is how there is a traffic guard who appears to be directing the elk across the street. It's cool how you captured the guard with his arm parallel to the elk. It just seems to be a normal part of his day! |

Isaac, I love all the wonderful animals to which you have been so close! It's so cool to see Miss Olive munching on those flowers for breakfast. She doesn't seem to be the least bit bothered by you taking her photo. On my screen the image looked a bit flat so I darkened some areas to try to make the baboon pop a bit.

Adrian, Your composition is effective with the path leading the eye through the image. The complementary colors of the sky against the rocks is also pleasing. I also found the edited version a bit too bright; I like the editing that Isaac did. |

Barbara, What a lovely image of this beautiful young elk. Your crop is effective with just enough space on either side of the elk. My eye goes right up to her sharp eye. It almost looks like she has a little teardrop falling from her eye, which makes me wonder what she is thinking. I can see why you lightened up the background, but on my screen the image looks a bit flat, so I'm wondering if adding a bit of dehaze might make it a pop a bit more. I like how Isaac edited it. |

Maria, What a wonderful capture! I love damselflies as well as turtles; how cool to get them together like this. I especially find the reflection to be an effective part of this image; thus, I also agree with the suggestion for a tighter crop. |

Thanks, Isaac. I like the increased saturation; however, I kept the lower flower to lead the eye up and around to the bee. I tend to like the idea of 3 flowers, but I do like your crop too! |
