Wow, Isaac! Once again you have shared a fabulous image of a walrus. What great details in its face. I am so curious about what this guy might have been thinking when he was watching you. Your processing was very effective in bringing out the details and colors. Nicely done! |

Adrian, How cool to once again capture this awesome bird. Your crop is effective as it allows the viewer to concentrate on your interesting subject. It is wonderful that you were able to capture this one as it was surfing the waves. I agree with the others about the overexposed area. |

Barbara, This is a very effective composition. The triangles formed by capturing the bear on a diagonal help lead the eyes of the viewer from one corner of the frame to the other. I can't help but imagine what this guy is thinking about as he contentedly munches on his stick. Well done! |

Mary, I often go through Lewiston when my husband and I visit Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is a delightful town. As I stare at your image, I find myself wondering about the person who might have lovingly planted the flowers. I am especially drawn to the shelf with the birdhouses and the window box. Again, a story emerges in my mind about the person who lives here. I agree with the suggestions re: keeping the image in color because it helps me to envision the story forming in my mind. |

Maria, What a wonderful story you captured as this sweet swallow touched the water! Its reflection almost makes it seem as if it were vainly looking at its appearance; it reminds me of the myth about Narcissus. I usually only see swallows as they fly around near trees, so your image of him going into water was truly a delight! I agree with the suggestions made by Isaac and Bruce. |

Barbara, Thank you for the excellent suggestion. I do like vertical high key artistic images, so I will probably play around with that. I'm eager to go back and see the chicks! |
