72 May 23 Comment Wow, Isaac! Once again you have shared a fabulous image of a walrus. What great details in its face. I am so curious about what this guy might have been thinking when he was watching you. Your processing was very effective in bringing out the details and colors. Nicely done! May 13th
72 May 23 Comment Adrian, How cool to once again capture this awesome bird. Your crop is effective as it allows the viewer to concentrate on your interesting subject. It is wonderful that you were able to capture this one as it was surfing the waves. I agree with the others about the overexposed area. May 13th
72 May 23 Comment Barbara, This is a very effective composition. The triangles formed by capturing the bear on a diagonal help lead the eyes of the viewer from one corner of the frame to the other. I can't help but imagine what this guy is thinking about as he contentedly munches on his stick. Well done! May 13th
72 May 23 Comment Mary, I often go through Lewiston when my husband and I visit Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is a delightful town. As I stare at your image, I find myself wondering about the person who might have lovingly planted the flowers. I am especially drawn to the shelf with the birdhouses and the window box. Again, a story emerges in my mind about the person who lives here. I agree with the suggestions re: keeping the image in color because it helps me to envision the story forming in my mind. May 13th
72 May 23 Comment Maria, What a wonderful story you captured as this sweet swallow touched the water! Its reflection almost makes it seem as if it were vainly looking at its appearance; it reminds me of the myth about Narcissus. I usually only see swallows as they fly around near trees, so your image of him going into water was truly a delight! I agree with the suggestions made by Isaac and Bruce. May 13th
72 May 23 Comment Bruce, Wow! What a gorgeous sight! I have never seen so many tulips and your image is striking. I do like the edits made by Isaac and Maria, which really enhance your already lovely image. May 13th
72 May 23 Comment Barbara, Thank you for the excellent suggestion. I do like vertical high key artistic images, so I will probably play around with that. I'm eager to go back and see the chicks! May 13th
72 May 23 Reply Maria, Thank you for your comments. I definitely plan to return soon so that I might see the young ones. May 13th
72 May 23 Reply Bruce, Thank you for your comments. I agree with you; Isaac did a great job of editing. I hope to go back soon to see some of the babies. May 13th
72 May 23 Reply Isaac, Thank you so much for the suggestions and for your time in making some adjustments. I think your ideas are great. I appreciate your comments. May 13th
