Adrian, Thank you so much for your comments. I just love watching this guy every week to see the progress of the nest and then the babies! |

Adrian, I am SO sorry for writing Barbara instead of your name! Ah...so you were on solid ground when you took the photos. Thanks for the clarification and again, I apologize for my error!â˜ï |

Thank you, Maria. We have many woodpeckers where I live in NY. The Pileated is one one of my favorites. Yesterday while I was reading outside, one visited my backyard. He didn't stay long but it was cool to see him checking out the trees in our yard. |

Barbara, I can't even imagine seeing over 1000 penguins at one time! It must have been so cool to watch the babies being fed by their moms. Considering that you were traveling over rough terrain, your images are sharp, especially image 2. I see what you mean about how difficult it was to get clean shots. I'm wondering if perhaps the background were darkened in image 2, it might make the penguin stand out. I tried to do so, and I also changed the orange color to the left. I'm not sure if it helps! |

Maria,
What a lovely image! I agree that your editing enhanced your image very nicely. The back lighting really allows the viewer to see the beautiful patterns in its wings and tail. Nicely done! |

Isaac, What a fantastic sight to see! I am wondering how he even is able to roll over with all that weight! Your composition is strong and the image certainly conjures a story for the viewer. I'm wondering how long it will take him to roll back over. Bruce's editing enhanced your lovely image. |

Barbara, Cleo has such a unique face! I love how sharp the image is; we can see every wrinkle on her feet and face. She seems like she was hoping to become your friend! |

Bruce, I find so much about this image to be effective! Technically, it is just stunning. I really love your title and the story that this photo tells. She seems so proud of her lovely teeth and is very eager to show them off. What a wonderful experience! |

Thank you, Barbara. Yes, when I saw how bright the original tree was, my eye kept going there instead of on the bird. |

Bruce, I took your advice and lightened the tail a bit and the new image looks better. Thank you for the suggestion. |
