Thank you, Maria. It is helpful to hear the suggestions and comments from you and the other members of our group. Seagulls, though very common, can be very intriguing! |

Barbara, Thank you for your comments! Yes, the gull had dropped the fish from its mouth. He was really working hard on it and then eventually an older gull swooped down and grabbed it! |

Maria, This is a lovely image of such a sweet bird. It is very sharp and well composed. I agree with Bruce about the background and square crop. I especially love the droplets of water on its back. Nicely done! |

Wow Bruce, what a fabulous expression you captured with such sharp eyes and talons! The light behind its back feathers is very effective as well as the gorgeous uncluttered background colors. On my screen I can see a bit of a spider web in the lower right corner, and I wondered if you might consider removing that. |

Isaac, This is a fabulous image of an Osprey. I love how you captured him balancing on one toe, while holding tightly onto his catch with the talons on his other foot. The details of his feathers are highly effective. I really love the story that is coming to mind as I stare at his cool expression. It's as if he is saying, "Don't even think about taking this fish!" |

Adrian, What a delightful bird! I love its beak. Thank you for including the image of its wingspan. The blurred background water effectively brings out the clarity of the bird. It sounds like you are having the time of your life. What a great journey! I realize that you do not have full access to your editing tools, but when you do, I'm wondering if a bit of dehaze might make this lovely creature pop a bit more. I did a bit of editing on the image; I brought out a bit more of the details on the bird, added some dehaze and darkened the background a bit. |
