Thanks, Bruce. I agree that they are a nuisance even though they are sort of cute. For some reason these two have left our yard, and I am glad that they have. They certainly do make a mess! |

Barbara, What a pleasant view right outside your door! Your post processing effectively brought out your sweet subjects. Each of the little nestlings seem to have a distinct personality. We can see which are the leaders and which is the shy one. Nicely done! |

Adrian,
What a fabulous opportunity! Like the others in our group, I also prefer the composition in the original image. I enjoy the heart shape that is created by the mountains on the sides and the point of the lake at the bottom of the image. Both images evoke a peaceful, serene mood. |

Hi Maria, yes I also enjoy seeing animal behavior or interaction. They are so interesting to watch. I'm amazed that you don't have squirrels in Australia. They are so common in the rest of the world. However, you have so many cool animals where you live. I look forward to seeing your photos of many animals that we don't have here in upstate NY. |

Maria,
I also enjoy looking for birds that are displaying interesting behavior, and your image definitely creates an impact on the viewer. Your post processing effectively brought out the details of the little chick. The parallel line of the spread wing next to the diagonal line of the branch and the triangle that frames the bird are effective aspects of the composition. I agree with Isaac's cropping. I look forward to more of your images! |

Bruce, What a fabulous image! The details of the feathers and the depth of field make this an effective image. I'm always looking for interesting stories and the expression on this owl's face certainly lends itself to a story that the viewer can create about this determined and focused hunter. I am so glad that you left the Grizzly, especially hearing about what happened! |

Mary, I continue to be impressed by your amazing underwater photography adventures. The creatures you have encountered are simply stunning! Your post processing effectively enhanced the underwater colors and the beauty of the lion fish. I am leaning towards the square crop that Bruce made so that the viewer can stay focused on the main subject. Nicely done! |

Isaac, Your image brings a smile to my face! I am intrigued by the interesting story in your image. I am picturing that the turkeys are in some kind of a marathon race as they go head to head towards the finish line. It looks like this was a very productive bird photography excursion. |

Thank you Mary. I know what you mean about trying to figure out which is which...I had noticed a bit of a tail in the far left and that and it took me a bit of time to figure out which squirrel's tail it was! Thank you for your comments. |

Thanks, Isaac. I did go back and forth with my crop. I like yours. When I looked at my shot on my screen, it was nice and bright; however, I discovered today that I had my brightness turned way up! Thank you so much for your suggestions and I am glad you learned a new word!! |
