Thanks, Barbara. Yes, those woodpeckers seldom stop pecking away and moving their head so quickly! I appreciate your comments. |

Thanks, Randy. I have not tried using both Denoise and Sharpen on the same image. Good to know! |

Mary, It's been fun watching him and his family for the past few weeks. This week the fledglings took flight! It was really cool to watch. Thank you for your suggestions. |

WOW, Adrian! How very cool to get to see this amazing Resplendent Quetzal. I have never been to Costa Rica, but it sure sounds like it is very challenging for a photographer. I would love to be there when its babies are poking their heads out of the nest hole. |

Barbara, Your image is lovely and sharp. I especially like the bit of light peeking through its left wing. Its position makes me smile; it looks like he might be scolding another bird. |

Randy, This is such a lovely image! I have always wanted to see a Painted Bunting, but they don't live in our area. The position you captured is interesting, especially the way his foot is bent and his beautiful wings. I'm wondering if you might consider decreasing the highlights a bit and perhaps darkening the background a bit. |

Isaac, WOW! This is such an awesome catch! At first I thought it was a photo of an alligator. I wonder if he ever did swallow that whole fish or if he figured out how to break it up a bit. |

Bruce, What a cool image! I love the egret's expression, the sharpness of your photo, and the uncluttered background. I think the cropping that Isaac did makes it even more effective. I sure wonder what this bird was thinking as he stared at you. |

Bruce,
I really like what you did to the image! Thank you. Yes, he was moving his head constantly. I go back and forth with wildlife images because sometimes it seems that their environment should be visible. The darkening that you did does allow the environment to still be visible but really helps to make the main subject pop. Thanks again. |
