72 May 22 Reply Thank you, Bruce. I cropped the image to a square, but you can't see that on the screen. I appreciate your suggestion, though! May 20th
72 May 22 Comment Mary, I agree with all the previous comments made about what an interesting image this is. In addition, I really enjoy the story being told. As I stare closely at the motorcyclist, I am wondering where he is going. I notice what appears to be a flag on his cycle and I am wondering if he is going to hang it on the bridge. What a fascinating place! May 13th

72 May 22 Comment Adrian, This sounds like an exciting place to visit. It's amazing that you captured this egret so close to the crocodile. The lighting on the egret enhances your image. The position of the two main subjects side by side, with the curve of the egret's neck in the same shape as the open mouth of the crocodile, is very effective. I do agree with Isaac about the busyness of the image. When I first looked at it, I was wondering if a pano crop might work, but I like what Isaac did to it better than my pano thought. Isaac's crop really brings out the main subject and the leading line of the reflection is enhanced. May 11th
72 May 22 Comment Barbara, I love the story being told in this image. I can think of so many things that one bird might be saying to its sibling. How fortunate to have a walking path right near these nests. I'm wondering if a bit of increase in the contrast might make the image more effective. On my screen it looks a bit flat. Overall, this is a lovely image! May 11th
72 May 22 Comment Wow, what a shot, Randy! The sharpness of the bird as well as the stick are very impressive. That animal detection feature sounds fabulous on your new camera. I look forward to seeing more of your birds in flight. May 11th
72 May 22 Comment Bruce, What a lovely image! The colors of the bird go well with the background. The details of its feathers and the lovely composition make this a truly effective shot. Nicely done! May 11th
72 May 22 Comment Isaac, What a beautiful image you captured with your iPhone! The square cropping effectively allows the viewer to concentrate on the anemone. You have captured the details of the inside of the anemone well. May 11th
72 May 22 Comment Isaac, Thank you very much. Spring is such a fun time of year for photography. It's really fun to watch the beautiful flowers come to life. May 11th
