Adrian, I'm so glad you were able to get several shots of hummingbirds on your recent trip, which sounds like it was fabulous! This is a beautiful shot. Your crop effectively helps to focus on the subject. Nicely done. |

Mary, What a lovely image! The lighting on the storm clouds really draw my eye to the tree and all around it. Very effective composition. Nicely done! |

Randy, I enjoy the story being told through this image. I find cardinals to be such interesting couples to observe. The males are often doting partners and fathers. I also notice the color of the female is blue on my monitor on your original as well as your processed image. I'm wondering if perhaps making this a black and white image might enhance it. |

Isaac, Great title! Your alternative title is also a good one. Your cropping enhances the image since the background hills and sky are not the subject of this image. What a cool discovery while you were driving around. |

Bruce, The expression you caught is fabulous. I agree with Isaac; the angle of the wings really enhance this image. |

Isaac,
Thank you for your suggestions. I like what you did to make the image pop better. More room to the right does make sense. I appreciate your comments.
