Adrian, This is such an interesting bird, which I have not seen before. I love how my eye goes directly to the bird's red eye as he scurries towards the waterfall for its bath. The water droplets don't bother me; they just show me that he is having fun splashing around. |

Mary, This is such a lovely creative technique. Thank you for having Isaac send us the instructions. Your post processing certainly ended up with a cool image. I'm wondering if perhaps increasing the saturation might make the pinks pop a bit more. Nicely done. |

Randy, I have been practicing quite a bit with birds in flight and agree with the comments about how difficult it can be. I have not tried this technique but it definitely looks challenging. I do tend to prefer less busy backgrounds but I commend you for doing such a good job with this technique. |

Isaac, this sounds like an awesome experience. I'm impressed that you were out there in sub zero temperatures getting such cool shots! I love the color pop in image 3 of the hunter's outfit. Nicely done. |

Walt, what a lovely image! The velvety texture is very effective. I agree that Isaac's crop makes it a more effective image. Thank you for including the other two images; what a colorful place for photography! I especially like your original #3 with its leading lines taking me right to the sunrise. |

Bruce, I have never seen an armadillo and this one is certainly a cool shot! The color of the bokeh enhances the image as it goes well with the coloring of the armadillo. I like the bubble because it makes me think that he is being playful, blowing bubbles. Nicely done! |

Thank you, Walt. I agree that Isaac's crop is better. It was quite interesting watching the large group of these vultures as they settled in across the street for most of the afternoon, then disappeared as quickly as they settled! |

Thanks, Bruce! A turkey vulture certainly has a face that only a mother could love. I have never seen a black buzzard; they don't make it up to New York, but when I make it down south again, I will be on the look out for some. |

Thanks, Isaac. After I submitted my image to you, I realized I should have cropped more of the image; thank you for taking the time to remove some of the barn and also for teaching me what the turkey vulture's diet is! |
