Yes, Bruce. I do appreciate your comments. You are right...it was so beautiful when I was there. Our local newspaper chose to publish it, but now that I have heard the comments from Adrian and you, I realize it is lacking an interest to hold the viewer. |

Adrian, I appreciate your honesty. Do. you think if I took a shot on a day that had some cumulus clouds in the sky it might work better? |

Thank you, Isaac. I love winter photography because the sun is low, which typically means we have beautiful light all day long. Though the weather has a bad reputation in my area of New York, we actually have had some fabulous days this year to get out, hike and enjoy the beauty around us. |

Issac, I love what you have done to create such a vibrant image. It's amazing how much can be done in PP to bring out the details, especially in areas like your sky and the trees. Nicely done! |

Adrian, I particularly like the colorful and detailed texture of the mountain in this beautiful, crisp image. The tree line supports the path as my eyes wander up the mountain. I'm not sure about the reflection, which doesn't grab my view. My eyes seem to stay above it. I'm wondering if perhaps a pano crop might have been something to consider. Nevertheless, it is a stunning image. |

Walt, What a lovely image! The water droplets are very effective, especially with the bonus of catching your image within one of them! The dark background provides the viewer the ability to concentrate on your main subject, though I also like your original with the complementary colored background. |

Randy, Congratulations on your fabulous and informative article. The personalities of the bears really came across in your shots. How very cool to have this image on the cover! The details and your cropping are very effective. Your article is very helpful for those of us who would love to travel to the Bridger-Teton National Forest. |

Bruce, This is such a perfect image! The composition, sharp focus and that fabulous cold air make this such an effective shot. I have always wanted to see an elk in the wild. I guess I really need to book a trip to Yellowstone when we can travel again! |
