94 May 25 Reply Thanks for your comments. We had a rainy, misty morning so yes the light was low and it didn't help that the cub was under the tree canopy. I had tried brightening the cub a little but it looked very artificial. May 19th

Such a lovely photo of this hummingbird. You got great details in the feathers. I agree with Gwen regarding darkening the beak, it will get rid of the glare on the beak but it might sharpen it as well. The only other comment/suggestion I have is to show some vegetation if you have it in this shot or maybe a composite?		 May 19th

94 May 25 Comment Hi Gwen, Beautiful image of the Turquoise-browed Motmot. In addition to Leslie's comments, I would burn the white brow a little and also remove the little stick that goes over the tail feathers, another feature in either LR or Photoshop (the recent update really improved this feature). 94 May 25 Comment Lovely photo of Half dome. It reminded of my trips to the park (I was not into photography back then). I agree with everyone's comments. I totally get how frustrating it must have been with the tripod not cooperating. A few months ago I got a L-bracket and it stays on the camera permanently. Can't wait to see photos with your new toy.
